1. Scope and operator
These Terms apply to www.downloady.org, Downloady software, its browser extensions and resources we provide. Downloady is developed by Lý Quí Chung of 56KGen. “We” means Lý Quí Chung / 56KGen; “you” means the individual or organization using these products. Contact: [email protected].
Read these Terms before use. If you do not agree, do not continue using the website or software.
2. Software usage rights
Downloady is licensed, not sold. It is free for personal, educational and commercial use under the End User License Agreement supplied with the software and published on this website.
Downloady 1.0 does not require a paid license to unlock features or remove a paid-tier speed limit. Actual download speed depends on the network, source server, device and configuration. Using the software does not grant ownership of its source code, trademarks or other intellectual property.
3. User responsibilities
You are responsible for the URLs, credentials and content you download and for how you use that content. Download only material you are entitled to access, copy or store. Comply with applicable law, the content owner's rights and the source website's terms. Downloady does not grant rights to third-party content or replace the owner's permission.
Do not use the website or software to:
- Violate the law or another person's rights.
- Access systems, accounts or data without authorization.
- Distribute malware, conduct fraud or disrupt services.
- Misrepresent your identity, the product's origin or an association with Downloady or 56KGen.
- Overload or damage website infrastructure.
4. Third-party content and services
Downloady detects and downloads resources from compatible sources. We do not own or control those websites' content. Sources may change formats, authentication, URLs or access policies, affecting download availability.
We do not guarantee support for every URL, website or item. Downloady 1.0 does not decrypt DRM or download live streams. Third-party websites, payment services and download servers may have their own terms and policies.
5. Ownership and redistribution
Rights in Downloady's proprietary code, name, logo and original content belong to their respective owners unless stated otherwise. You may share the original, unmodified package for free if you retain the EULA and copyright notices.
You may not sell, rent, sublicense for a fee or commercially exploit distribution contrary to the EULA. You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble proprietary Downloady code except where applicable law permits this despite the restriction.
Bundled open-source components have their own licenses. Downloady's terms do not restrict rights granted by those licenses or mandatory law.
6. Voluntary donations
Donations are voluntary. They do not increase speed, unlock features, provide priority support or grant additional usage rights. A thank-you code, if supplied, only personalizes an acknowledgment in the interface; it is not a paid license.
The Donate page lets you select an amount and then opens PayPal to process payment. This website does not receive card details. Review the terms of any separate donation channel before making a transaction. Transaction questions may be sent to [email protected]. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
7. Updates and support
New versions may fix issues, improve compatibility or add features. Downloady 1.0 lets you manually check for updates and displays version information and a download link. It does not install updates automatically.
We do not guarantee that old versions will remain compatible with all websites or operating systems. Use official download sources and back up important data before major changes. Support: [email protected].
8. Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the software and website are provided as is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, suitability for every purpose or compatibility with every source.
You are responsible for assessing the safety and suitability of downloaded files. Downloady does not replace device protection software or checking a file's origin.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss, data loss, lost profits or business interruption arising from use or inability to use the product. Nothing excludes liability or user rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
9. Ending use
You may stop using Downloady at any time. Removing the application or browser extension may leave downloaded files, history or settings stored separately on your device. A serious license breach may terminate usage rights under the EULA and applicable law.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms to reflect product changes or legal requirements. Updated terms will be published here with their effective date. Material changes will be notified appropriately. Continued use after a change is governed by applicable law and the change notice.
